The shop

Here since the days of dirt roads

Founded in 1972 by a World War 2 combat veteran, Harvey's Garage Door is, as far as anybody can tell, the oldest, most experienced local garage door company in the entire Coachella Valley. The shop's own history puts it plainly: generations of this family business helped build Palm Desert from a literal dirt road into the city it is today.

That long local history is practical, not just proud. It means specific knowledge of each desert town's architectural trends and HOA guidelines, and a shop that answers to neighbors, not to a franchise office far away.
